Overview

IT organizations are burdened with two seemingly incongruous goals – to maximize data availability, performance, security, and service levels to meet business demands, while reducing data center and overall business costs. As IT organizations work to keep pace with business requirements and to provide the highest levels of uptime and reliability, they increasingly face budget constraints. To improve server utilization and efficiencies within their data center infrastructure, many companies are turning to virtualization and open source technologies for the answer.

ASI's Consulting & Integration division leverages years of experience and proven best practices to help companies plan, design, implement, and support a fully utilized and optimized data center that enables mission-critical systems to perform at peak service levels. It is founded on deep domain expertise as well as the principle that “one solution does not fit all” customers.  Our broad-based IT expertise draws on solutions incorporating components from multiple vendors and more than two decades of experience in delivering heterogeneous environment services.

We are also fully cognizant of Sarbanes-Oxley, Patriot Act, Graham-Leach-Bliley, HIPAA, Check 21, CobiT, and other critical issues of compliance that are driving many of today’s IT needs.  Our focus is creating a powerful interlinking with legacy, new, and future technologies that ensures cost-effective, ROI-centric delivery of solutions in an exploding market with expanding needs.  We scale our delivery to any size; and therefore, bring all key technologies to any “playing field”, and any client.

ASI recognizes that to support rapid growth, it must provide consistent, high quality, and responsive services while maximizing resource utilization and managing costs. ASI accomplishes this, in part, through a formal set of robust Operational Practices aligned with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management processes. The ITIL practices are published by the Central Computer and Telecommunications Agency (CCTA) of the British Government, and provide a comprehensive framework for IT related service management. These practices consist of a set of guides, tools, roles, and measurements that enable ASI to effectively manage the delivery of consistent and reliable infrastructure services.

Solution Portfolio

Our independent approach allows us to objectively evaluate each client's current environment and determine if and where it makes sense to consolidate servers, assess network infrastructure, and leverage virtualization technology to maximize utilization, performance and efficiencies, while also anticipating future capacity and growth requirements.
