Sales Associate - NYC
Position Description
We are currently seeking entry-level sales representatives with a desire to learn IT sales as part of our growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in the value added reseller or integrator environment is preferred, however we are open to candidates with various levels of sales experience. Sales Associates will be selling technology consulting and solutions in our core competencies of storage, security, infrastructure (servers and networking) and managed services.
This position is for motivated self-starters. You will prospect and close new accounts through a consultative sales methodology. This is a value-focused sales position in which with the guidance of seasoned sales executives you will assess customers’ needs and identify the products/solutions that best meet their needs.
You will be trained and mentored by some of the most successful and talented individuals in the industry. Additionally, Sales Associates will go through extensive training to assess customers’ needs and identify the products/solutions that best meet your clients’ needs.
Required Experience
- 1+ years of sales experience (preferably in a valued added reseller/integrator environment)
- Must be highly motivated and a dynamic self-starter to take on new or existing projects
- Ability to successfully cold-call prospective clients and arrange appointments
- Must be able to prospect and close new accounts through a consultative sales methodology
