Job Title: Network Infrastructure Engineer(s)

The candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. The individual must also exhibit the ability to communicate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience. They must be able to work independently as well as with other engineers on the team and support vendors. The engineer should be able to diagnose problems effectively with minimal down time as outlined in our Service Level Agreements. Must be able to perform in a demanding environment and be capable of handling multiple priorities. They must be flexible in schedule and be able to work out of hours and be on-call as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in internetworking technologies (MPLS, VPN, T1, DS3, point to point, Ethernet
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent technical skills and learn new technologies quickly

  • Excellent knowledge with Cisco IOS, XOS, and CatOS
  • Familiarity with the various Cisco hardware platforms (routers, switches, Nexus, firewalls, content switches, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of routed protocols (TCP/IP, IPv6, Appletalk)
  • Extensive knowledge of advanced routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF)
  • Experience with DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, TACACS+
  • Knowledgeable with Cisco Access Control Servers (ACE)
  • Knowledgeable with Firewall technologies (Cisco FWSM, ASA, PIX)
  • VPN Configurations (client and site to site configuration
  • WLAN technology (Aruba, Cisco, 802.11abgn, Smartphones, Tablets)
  • VoIP and QoS
  • Experience working Virtualized Environments
  • Experience with iSCSI communications
  • Network Management Tools (eHealth, Spectrum)
  • Cable Testers (Fluke Meter)
  • Knowledgeable with protocol analyzers and analysis
  • Knowledge of HP Networking a great plus
  • Knowledgeable in server and deskside environments (PC and MAC)

Experience Required

A bachelors degree in Computer Science or HP Internetworking Master ASE or Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE); and five to six years of internetworking experience is essential.
